• Scratch resistance and Hydrophobic coat

Fuji lenses employs a unique process of vacuum coating technology, to apply a Ultra Hard Coating, which consists of extremely hard organic/inorganic dielectric substances, to the front and back of our lenses that will adhere safely for the entire life of the lens. Normal hard coating, leaves a rough microstructure on the surface of the layer, allowing dirt and grease particles to stick to it. We create a clean Hydrophobic layer, again applied under vacuum, that flattens the rough microstructure and smoothes the surface. This means that Fuji lens are not only scratch-resistant, and repel water, but have grime prevention properties making it easy to keep lenses clean.This is included free on all our lenses

• Ultraviolet (UV400 ) protection

Fuji Lenses can now be treated to block UV. Ultraviolet (UV) protection very beneficial to the eyes - just as we use sunscreen to keep the sun's UV rays from harming our skin, UV treatment in eyeglass lenses blocks those same rays from causing cataracts, retinal damage and other eye problems. We use UV400 coatings on the lenses which block out 100% of harmful Ultraviolet rays, and it does not change the appearance of the lenses at all.

• Anti-Reflection Multi coating (a must for night driving)

Fuji creat Multi anti-reflection coating layers on a wide range of lenses for reducing light reflection to a maximum. Fuji lenses attain a good light transmission rate of up to 99.5% which permits better vision in places where light intensity is low, like night driving. It also reduces glare, and best of all it enhances eye beauty, so you will not only look better, you will also feel less fatigue whilst working, play sports, drive more safely and generally enjoy any activity without the hindrance of ghost images and back reflections. Like our Hard coating, Fuji employs a unique process of vacuum coating technology. We create a clean super Hydrophobic layer, again applied under vacuum, that flattens the rough microstructure and smoothes the surface. This means that Fuji lens are not only scratch-resistant, and repel water, but have super grime prevention properties making it easy to keep lenses clean.
